
1. Bazaar merchants and shopkeepers in various parts of Esfahan, including Imam Ali Square, Shohada Street, Sharif Vaqefie Street, staged a strike on Saturday and refused to open their shops in protest to the mullahs’ regime anti-human crime of splashing acid on women’s faces.
2. Similarly, in the city of Shahr-e Kord, the shopkeepers in various locations of the city, including Ayatollah Kashani Avenue, Saadi Street, Hafez Shomali Avenue, all the streets in western and eastern Mirdamad, Mellat Street, and Balal Street, joined the strike and refused to open their shops in support of the innocent women and girls.
3. The students in Shahr-e Kord, staged a strike and refused to appear in their classes in support of women and girls and in protest to the tragic crime of splashing acid on women.
In recent days, Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, President-elect of the Iranian Resistance, had expressed deep abhorrence regarding this anti-human crime against the zealous women and called on all Iranians, especially the women and the youth, to join the national movement in defense of Iranian women.
