Az-Zaman daily on Sep. 17, wrote that National al-Iraqia led by Dr. Ayad Allawi and the National Dialogue Front led by Dr. Saleh Mutlaq welcomed withdrawal of the Sadr movement from the Shiite Alliance bloc.

Rassem Awadi from the National Iraqia said: the move by the Sadr movement is a faithful act which aims at unity of Iraq and eradicating sectarianism. He rebjected any kind of religious allotment based on which the Maliki’s government was formed; he requested for formation of a National government.

On the other hand the spokesman of National Dialogue Front, Heydar Molla called Sadr movement pull out as a positive step toward National Project.
