
Citing Iraqi security sources, Asharqiya TV reported on May 21: The preliminary investigations by officials about Wednesday’s four explosions indicate that the Iranian Special Groups that had entered Iraq from Iran are behind the explosions.
Within the last two days in Baghdad and Kirkuk, at least 46 people were killed and close to 100 were injured due to explosions.
Asharqiya TV also reported of arrest of one of the Special Groups commanders affiliated to the Iranian regime while implanting an IED in Hilla-Diwaniya Road and added:” The arrested person is a member of a cell called “Group of Yawm al-Maw’ud” and is under interrogation.
