French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius, rejected any talks with Syria’s Assad during a meeting in Brussels countering a statement made recently by John Kerry, U.S secretary state. Fabius described such a talk as a gift to Islamic State.
French government has previously said that Assad is not part of any solution to Syria, since he has been the main source of more than 220 thousands deaths and increased terrorism in the region. In a statement, the French Foreign Ministry spokesperson announced that Bashar Assad cannot be any part of a solution for Syria.
