The mullahs’ regime state-run Asr-e Iran website reported the so-called Ministry of Guidance has issued a permit for the publication of a book picturing Rafsanjani, former Iranian regime president and longtime foe of Khamenei, in black pictures as the main figure behind the 2009 uprisings. The book consists of Rafsanjani’s remarks and practically attempts to portray him as the main element behind the events following the mullahs’ sham 2009 presidential elections that was rigged by Khamenei and Ahmadinejad.
In other news on this intense political dispute among the mullahs’ senior ranks, based on a report wired by the Mehr news agency (affiliated directly to the Ministry of Intelligence) Rafsanjani has opposed Farhad Daneshju, Khamenei’s candidate, to be appointed as the head of Tehran’s Azad University.
Analysts view this internal political divide among the mullahs ruling Iran as extremely serious and expect Khamenei to eliminate Rafsanjani from his post as the head of the regime’s so-called Expediency Council.
