Farid Nabil Makkari, Vice President of the Lebanese Parliament of the al-Mustaqbel current (linked to Sa’ad Hariri) sent a message to the hunger strikers in announcing his solidarity and that of the al-Mustaqbel current, and also emphasizing that the world will also stand alongside the positions of these brave and noble hunger strikers.

We in the Morocco Human Rights Organization with deep concern express our sympathy with the Iranian refugees in Iraq for the pressure, mandatory relocation, torture and murder they have endured. We call on all civil organizations, the Iraqi government and especially the UNHCR to intervene for the release of the seven Ashrafi hostages.
Ili Ma’louf, President of the Regional Network for Progress, Democracy and Human Rights in Lebanon issued a message to the hunger strikers in Camp Liberty announcing his solidarity with them and denouncing any violence and terrorism against them.
Sheikh Basel Akram, the official spokesman of the Tikrit protest camp, sent a message of support for the Liberty hunger strikers saying the PMOI are our country’s guests from many years ago. They have never disturbed or harassed anyone.
Therefore, we call for the return of the hostages to their families to have treated these guests as they deserve to be treated. These guests have lived with us for many years.
