150 workers of Bardsir Sugar Factory in Kerman province, southern Iran, staged a gathering in the factory’s yard and protested and demanded their 8-month unpaid salaries.

Protesting workers said: During the last eight months we have gradually sold what we had reserved to scrape along; but we don’t have anything left and are not able to buy even dry bread.
