Repressive police in Tehran’s Nosser Khosrow Avenue unable to control the sale of firecrackers before the upcoming end of the year Fire Festivities before Norouz have staged raids on Monday, March 10th, against the vendors to round up their goods, recent reports indicate. However, the vendors prevented the police from rounding up their goods.
On this same day a resident from the northern city of Rasht said in a call with the Iran Khabar Agency: “In recent days and with the end of the year nearing the market of selling firecrackers has become much more active. These days the vendors are also selling their goods here and there in secret.”
