Popular protests in Iraq against Maliki’s government & Iranian meddling

Marking the 482nd day of the popular movement in Iraq, Baghdad TV aired the massive prayer gatherings being held in the six uprising provinces of Anbar, Baghdad, Diyala, Kirkuk, Salahaddin and Neinawa.
Al Jazeera TV reported Friday’s prayer gatherings were held while a number of people were killed and injured as a result of indiscriminate bombings by Maliki’s militant forces targeting areas in Diyala and Anbar. Many homes and economic centers were destroyed and the city of Fallujah is suffering from power outages and lack of drinking water.
Al Jazeera TV said, “The center of Friday prayer leaders of Baghdad announced the bombings of residential homes, schools and hospitals in Fallujah by Maliki’s army last week have been the most violent attacks in many weeks and since Maliki began his war against the Iraqi people. Maliki lies in claiming those remaining in Fallujah are murderers and their families, and this is a provocative call for a massacre in Fallujah”.
