An Iranian civil activist currently detained in Tehran’s notorious Evin Prison, has issued a statement saying if his basic human rights are not addressed he will launch a dry hunger strike in the coming days.
Saeed Hosseinzadeh was arrested back in October 2014 by Revolutionary Guards intelligence agents in his home and was transferred to a solitary confinement in ward 2A in that facility.
In his initial court he was sentenced to 7 years behind bars for “propaganda against the state” and “insulting the leader”.
