Especial Police Units in Mashhad, Northeaster Iran used tear gas to break up a crowd of people who took the opportunity of the passing away of a popular singer to protest. Morteza Pashai died on Friday in a hospital after a long battle with cancer.
Thousands of people gathered to farewell turning his funeral in to an anti-regime protest.
According to some sources at least 15 people have been arrested.
