BBC: If the Iranian regime has the ability to deliver nuclear weapons, how serious is the issue?
General Dempsey: As you already know we have said we will not allow the Iranian regime become a nuclear power.
BBC: If you are missioned to annihilate the Iranian regime’s nuclear capabilities, will you be able to carry out this mission?
General Dempsey: I will not talk about the ability; I will tell you that our current path is economic and political. However, we have said continuously we will not take the military option off the table.
