Syria rebels in Damascus have taken over the city of Dekhaniya east of the capital after heavy and long battles. The rebels staged more advances and were able to take complete control over the city of Dekhaniya. This operation came with heavy clashes where the rebels killed at least 40 Assad forces, including criminal officers. The Assad regime has been receiving serious blows recently from attacks staged by the rebels, to a point that it has admitted to these setbacks and major defeats in its state-run media.
