Asharq Al-Awsat, the Arab language paper published in London, in its issue on Jan. 7 wrote: International sanctions against Iran are more dangerous to this regime than war. Iranian regime persisting in continuing its nuclear program is now trapped by international sanctions and is positioned in an exhausting long military alert.

Most international major Banks have stopped trades with Iran. That is while Iran hasn’t developed its oil industry over last twenty five years. Iran is unable to expand its gas fields. The inability is so considerable that in three Northern provinces of Iran, people are burning wood in this very cold winter to survive. All because Iran reduced imported gas due to the rise in its price.
