Iranian regime worried over increase in Gulf oil production

A news media outlet affiliated to the Iranian regime’s Ministry of Intelligence and Security expressed concerns over an increase of oil production by various Persian Gulf countries, analyzing this measure as intended to replace mullahs’ oil following oil embargoes on the Iranian regime.
“During the past few days we have witnessed pressure being imposed by the US and EU on major oil producing countries to increase their output with the goal of preparing the grounds to sanction Iran’s oil,” this Iranian regime state-run media outlet wrote while mentioning such measures by Kuwait, UAE and Libya. “Their goal is to prevent the sudden rise in oil prices in global markets in case the EU enforces an oil embargo on Iran’s oil,” it added. “Recently, Saudi Arabia recorded a new level of oil production, surpassing the 10 million bpd mark.”
