On the seventh night of the martyrdom of two PMOI members, Jafar Kazemi and Mohammad Ali Haj-Aqaii, on Saturday, January 29th, a group of Iranians and supporters of the PMOI in Washington, DC along with the Ashraf residents’ family members staged a demonstration in front of the White House protesting the recent wave of executions in Iran.
Demonstrators, on the seventh night of the martyrdom of two political prisoners, commemorated these PMOI heroes.
Large pictures of these two executed political prisoners alongside the picture of other recently executed political prisoner Ali Saremi were decorated with flowers and candles which attracted the attention of large crowds of bystanders.
The demonstrators chanted:
“President Obama, condemn the execution of Jafar Kazemi and Mohammad Ali Haj-Aqaii”
“The message of Jafar’s blood is to stand to the end”
“Heroic Ashraf residents, we swear on your blood that your path will continue”
“The blood of our martyrs, the suffering of our prisoners, gathers in you Rajavi”
“Down with Khamenei”
In a part of this ceremony, the statement of Amnesty International in condemning the cruel execution of Jafar Kazemi and Mohammad Ali Haj- Aqaii was read out.
The participants placed flowers on the pictures of the martyrs paying tribute to them.
