Tehran: A number of Justice Department employees in Tehran went on strike to protest the corruption and the department’s refusal to pay the employees’ salaries.

Tehran: Iran Carton Factory workers gathered outside the director’s office of the factory on Saturday to demand unpaid wages and benefits. This factory has 360 employees.

Pakdasht; a group of laid-off workers from Poonel-Pakdasht Co. on Monday Dec. 9, rallied outside the city’s Justice dept. to protest against their unpaid wages and job uncertainty.

Karaj: Employees of Taksazeh Company in Simin-dasht, Karaj, rallied outside the company management on Sunday, 8th demanding to have insurance coverage and other general services. Taksazeh Company manufactures plastic materials.

Isfahan: Representatives of Khorasgan farmers together with a group of farmers and industrial workers from Isfahan traveled to Tehran on Monday to take part in a protest demonstration. They said the reason that they traveled to the Capital was to obtain their rights to irrigation and to receive compensation for their losses from the central government and that they would remain there until their demands are met.
