Forward to a global stance on Iran’s human rights violations

During the age of globalization, the Internet and the information revolution, and when humanity is achieving unprecedented scientific and cultural advances, the mullahs’ regime has remained behind, the Palestinian ‘Al-Sabah’ daily wrote on January 24, 2013.
Iran is carrying out a catastrophic measure by issuing a death sentence for an individual on charges of providing financial assistance for a political party opposing the ruling regime.
Gholamreza Khsoravi, 47, is sentenced to death for providing financial assistance for the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran, an organization opposing the repressive mullahs’ regime. They have also banned him from any family visits.
Gholamreza spent 5 years in prison in the 1980s when he was only 16 years-old. He was again arrested in 2007 and sentenced to six years behind bars. In 2010, he was transferred to Evin Prison and sentenced to death for financial aid to the PMOI. He has spent more than 40 months in solitary confinement from 2007 to this day.
The international community and United Nations must take a strong global stance against Iran’s continuous human rights violations and refer this dossier to the UN Security Council.
