Sultan al-Arade, Governor of Ma’rib Province in Yemen revealed that groups of Houthis and troops loyal to ousted dictator Ali Abdullah Salah have made contact with the Arab coalition forces and some have indicated their intention to surrender, while others are seeking safety to merely exit the area, Asharq Al Awsat reported on Monday.
Furthermore, some of these forces have asked for money to be able to rejoin their families.
