The US says its relations with Saudi Arabia is as strong as ever, CNN reported Sunday, Jan. 24th.

US Secretary of State, John Kerry reassured Riyadh and other Gulf allies that nothing has changed. The reason for the assurance, is Iran.
Meantime relations between Tehran and Riyadh has deteriorated. The Saudi foreign minister says he is not worried America and Iran come together. 
During a press conference with the Secretary Kerry in Riyadh Saudi Foreign Minister Adel al-Jubeir said “Iran remains the world’s chief sponsor of terrorism, Iranian government institution are still designated as terrorist organizations, and Iranian officials, including in the security services are wanted for terrorism.”
