A woman was stopped on Wednesday by the police in charge of women’s Islamic dress code for not being properly covered. She was asked to show ID and to follow the suppressive police to the police van, but she resisted. The argument led to a clash between the woman and three police women which resulted in beatings and minor injuries to the three Hijab police.
She was eventually taken custody, but later released when her husband and family put up bond for her. The woman was hailed by the passersby who they said was defending herself against repressive mullahs rule.
