The Al-Arab al-yawm daily, published in Jordan wrote: Sheikh Hassan al-Moayyed, one of the Iraqi Shiite clergies, condemned the visit of Iran’s president Ahmadinejad to Baghdad and pointed out that this trip was rejected by all nationalistic forces and the people of Iraq.

The daily added: The Southern Iraqi Sheikhs Association , too, announced: It is proven to everybody that the Iranian regime is the main cause in creation insecurity in Iraq and the enemy of freedom and democracy in this country, the region and the world; no deal and compromise with the Iranian regime on Iraq leads to any results.
