Tehran: Two students clashed with the mullahs’ suppressive forces in Hassan-Abad metro station on Wed. Nov. 19th. The clash started when two students, a female and an male students were stopped by a number of Basij forces and were harassed for the so called “improper Hijab”. The students protested and the Basij forces had to leave.
Tehran: Metal and pipe dealers protested against increased price of raw material including metal pipes and pipe fittings. They went on strike and closed down their shops on Nov. 19. They said increased prices have slowed down the business and scared off customers from buying material. Thus metal and pipe sellers have been losing money and customers.
Tehran: a number of supermarket owners in Fatemi district of the capital went on strike protesting the unreasonable increased price of electricity raising their electric bill beyond their ability to pay considering drop in the business.
