Agence France Presse reported: The White House rejected Iranian regime’s protest against the Annapolis Middle East Peace Conference and said: Such position from a regime that supports isolated extremists is not unlikely.

Dana Perino, the White House spokesman, said: The Iranian regime is worried that extremists would be targeted in this conference. We can achieve a Palestinian government and establish peace between Israel and Palestine, and then we may be witness to the realization of a comprehensive peace in the Middle East.
