According to reports received from inside Iran, the regime’s repressive police forces arrested a number of moneychangers in Tehran on Tuesday, and dispatched numerous units to various areas of the capital.
These measures were carried out by the regime due to reports indicating Tehran Bazaar merchants planning to stage gatherings at 3:30 pm, protesting the falling value of the rial.
According to witnesses, repressive forces blocked streets leading to the Mohseni Square, along with Ghalhak, Seyed Khandan and Argentine streets leading towards Enghelab Avenue, which splits Tehran in two north and south regions by running from the east to the west of the capital. The police units did not allow any passing of cars, even metro vehicles.
