Iran: Two teachers arrested for opposing the regime

Iran, September 27, 2017 – According to reports from reliable sources in the city of Bukan, western Iran, members of the notorious intelligence ministry on Sunday Sept. 24th arrested and imprisoned two school teachers. The arrested teachers, according to the report, are identified as Molud Khancheh-Zard and Salman Imam-Zanbili.
The arrest and imprisonment came following an interrogation by the intelligence ministry officials.
These two teachers were also arrested by the same intelligence ministry last year accused of “propaganda against the regime” and “involvement in a teachers’ protest,” but they were later released on bond.
In another case, based on local reports, there are still no news of the fate of three people arrested in the capital Tehran. Their names are Mehdi Sepehr, Shahriar Sepehr and Ali Memarian. The three were arrested two weeks ago and taken to an unknown location.
