Mullah Sadegh Larijani, head of Iran’s judiciary branch, Majlis (parliament) member Ahmad Tavakoli used harsh comments in attacking Ahmadinejad, showing yet another sign of intense internal disputes among the regime’s senior officials.
“We have a list of people in the executive branch who have received huge bribes, yet they act as if they know nothing about it. How do you not know about it?” Larijani said.
Ahmad Tavakoli described recent remarks made by Ahmadinejad as an attempt to blame others for his own mistakes, describing Ahmadinejad’s demand of placing special authority in centralized management of the economy as a dangerous initiative.
