PMOI CALLS FOR UPRISING<br>ON ANNIVERSARY OF ANTI-MONARCHIAL REVOLUTION

People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran calls on all Iranians, especially the brave youth, to rise up on February 11, the anniversary of anti-monarchy revolution, in revolt by chanting “Death to the Velayat-e Faqih principle” and “Death to Dictator – Death to Khamenei”.
PMOI salutes the martyrs of the anti-monarchial revolution of the Iranian people. It hails all Mojahedin, combatants and freedom-lovers who fell for the cause of freedom in their struggle to overthrow the Velayat-e Motlaqeh Faqih (absolute rule of the Supreme Religious Leader) from 20 June 1981 up to the Ashura uprising of 27 December 2009.

This call by the PMOI partially reads: “Khamenei, the feeble Supreme Leader of the regime, along with its apparatus of suppression and massacre, and the entirety of the mullahs’ regime, while shaken by the Ashura great uprising, have resorted to executions in a bid to terrorize people.  Widespread arrests and medieval trials continue where those apprehended are accused of ‘moharebeh’ (waging war on God).
Yet, solidarity for liberation from the religious dictatorship gets ever stronger. A nation, determined and alert, ceaselessly rises to ‘wage war’ on the anti-Islamic and anti-human regime. Flames of freedom are not to die; rather, they shall shine ever brighter.”
