77 jurists and lawyers, by signing a statement which was released by the Iraqi Bar Association , condemned Ahmadinejad’s trip to Iraq and called on for his trial in an international tribunal on charges of killing Iraqi people .

This statement reads: the news of Ahmadinejad’s trip to Iraq has averted public disgust; the Iraqi people, young or old, consider him as the main occupier and believe that the Qods Force under his command was responsible for murder and forcible migration of the Iraqi people; the people consider him as the president of a regime that ransacked Iraqi oil daily, and in exchange exported narcotic drugs, spoiled tea, spoiled medicine and corrupted elements to occupy the governmental posts; and finally a person on charges of terrorism and prosecuted on participating in assassination of Iraqi Kurd leaders. Such kind of man is not welcomed by our people.
