Saudi Crown Prince Emir Mohamed bin Nayef held an emergency session with security commanders of the Hajj pilgrimage, focusing on the Mecca catastrophe and calling for follow ups on the reasons behind this incident.
The Crown Prince called for a committee to probe into this matter and prepare an in-depth for King Salman.
“The incident in Mecca occurred due to the interference in the Hajj pilgrimage paths,” said official Interior Ministry spokesman General Mansour Turki.
