A year since the young Iranian ethnic Arab identified as Hamze Hosseinzadeh (Asakere) was abducted by the infamous Intelligence Ministry (MOIS/VEVAK) from his residents in the city of Mahshahr, southwestern Iran, but there is no information of his whereabouts to this date. 
The family of this young man has throughout the past year sought information about their son at the Iranian regime’s so-called judiciary offices and intelligence bureaus in Mahshahr and the capital of Khuzestan Province. However, to this day all of their efforts have ended in futile.
A year ago Hosseinzadeh had trampled an Islamic republic flag and a few days later he was abducted by plainclothes agents in a city street. His family first searched all hospitals and prisons attempting desperately to obtain information about their son. They even published his image in state-run dailies and posted his photo in various public areas. They received no answers until MOIS/VEVAK agents in Ahvaz informed them in a telephone call to no longer look for their son as he is in their custody.
A year later this family has yet to be able to visit their son, and despite all this, regime agents are now saying they have no information about his whereabouts and he is not in the custody of Ahvaz intelligence.
Currently the Hosseinzadeh family is extremely concerned about their son, saying there is a high probability their child has been killed under extreme torture. The family of this prisoner have called upon all human rights and international organizations requesting action to help find their 17-year-old son.
