Iran, Kashan: Amir-Kabir Industrial Town workers’ protest

A group of laid-off workers of Amir-Kabir Industrial Town gathered on Thursday April 30 in front of the company management office protesting company’s action making them unemployed. They demanded to be reinstated to their jobs and be paid full salary. They said they will continue protesting until their demands are met.
According to eyewitnesses, around noon time Thursday a second group of workers joined them in solidarity with the laid-off workers. They also protested lack of job security and unpaid wages and salaries. The protest continued in to late hours of evening.
