Senior Iranian regime officials have been setting the stage for major vote rigging during Friday’s twin elections.
Iranian Interior Minister Rahmani Fazli said 54 million people are eligible to vote and forecasted a 70% voter turnout, meaning 34 million votes.
However, state TV claimed there are 55 million eligible voters in Iran and a “vast majority” will be participating.
