Happening Now: Hundreds demonstrate in front of Rouhani’s office in support of political prisoner, Azimzadeh

Following the call on Tuesday, about 300 demonstrators including teachers, activists and workers rallied outside Iranian regime president, Hassan Rouhani in Tehran’s Pastor Ave. on Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at 10 AM local time (05:30 GMT).
Despite a heavy presence of security forces and plain cloths agents trying to prevent the rally to take place, the demonstrators converged and started to chant demanding the immediate release of the hunger striking political prisoner and labor activist, Jafar Azimzadeh from prison.
Mr. Azimzadeh is on his 62nd day of hunger strike and has twice lost consciousness before. His doctors have repeatedly said that he would reach the point of no return if his hunger strike is not ended very soon.
Some of the slogans repeatedly called by the demonstrators:
“Prison is not the place for workers, and he must not be whipped”
“Free incarcerated laborer”
“62 days of hunger strike, Jafar must be freed”
“Freebooters and plunderers are walking free, but laborers are in jail”
Suppressive State Security Forces (SSF) were preventing anybody to take pictures from the demonstration and confiscate any mobile phone or camera that people were carrying.
