Workers of “Joe Mine” in Kerman province, southern Iran, protested on Wednesday Jan, 14 for the fifth consecutive time during the current month demanding their unpaid wages to be paid. They staged a gathering in front of the governor’s office in Zarand City demanding their salaries and wages unpaid for past few months to be paid saying they have family to feed and with high prices they are going hungry.
These mine workers are demanding to be hired as full time employees and not just as part time or day to day workers.
